I have been told that I will be down another bridesmaid. My brother and his wife have separated and she had decided that she will not/can not participate.
Anyone wear a size 14 (can be altered)?
Seriously thought, I feel bad for the both of them. I really don't know what happened and frankly, it is none of my business. My mom is devastated.

What a bummer. It's hard to celebrate other people's milestones when you're going through such difficulties yourself.
Didn't you have some bridesmaid drama before when you wanted to include a friend, but couldn't because of family? Can you invite that friend to participate now?

At this time in the process, I think that I am just going to let the dress go. The Bf's sister will be escorted by her two brothers. We also may ask his niece to participate but that may cause some family drama on his side.
We'll figure something out. It is my brother that I am concerned about.

Oh my gosh. This happened to me - my BiL divorced his wife right before the wedding. Ugh. I got to ask a close friend that I would have rather asked to begin with, but it was stressful!
