It started with one....

And lead to a total of four. I am talking about books and Amazon. I love books and I used to be an avid reader. I lost that pleasure when I started to drive to work and when I started grad school. As I am done in three weeks, I am planning on devouring the books that I have started and not yet finished!

Anyway, I had to order a book on Amazon for school because the bookstore ran out. So I innocently went online. A few clicks later I ordered the book and a few other books. But I did it to save money I swear because the more you order you get free shipping. Free..so that was the reason I order the extra books. Yet, I really can't justify spending that much money to save 6 dollars.

Will the shame ever wash off?

Yeah...I had to take Amazon out of my favorites. I go in there for 1 book and end up with 5. Oops! :)

Amazon is awesome. It's definitely hard to get out with just one item.

So what books did you get? What are you reading? Do you read multiple books at a time?

Tell me, tell me, tell me.

Oh, boy. I know the feeling. Not only do I have an Amazon credit card, I'm a member of Amazon Prime. Yup, I pay $90 a year for expedited shipping. I might be a sucker, but it's really handy for semi-last-minute shopping w/o leaving the house.

I just joined Shelfari (my name is hunsford). I would've invited you to join, too, but I don't have your email address. Check it out!

As a fellow book lover, all I can say is... there is NO shame in saving six bucks!!!

It was totally worth it. Because hellooooo! You just got new books. And you're going to get a huge thrill when they arrive and you can tear into them.

Congratulations on getting through grad school! That is indeed something amazing and remarkable. I'm always in awe of smart people. You should be very, very, proud of yourself!
