It was another wonderful weekend with the GP boyfriend. I have so much fun with him. On Friday his television departed this world so on Saturday we went to look at a few . He got one, a nice flat screen 32" tv. Lovely picture and it is his new toy. He is pleased as punch with his new purchase and I think that by tomorrow most of the manual will have been read and when I see him next, it will be more for the features than what is on the tv!
However, he was subjected to a round of 20-ish or more questions from the Midwest mama. She and Midwest pop had a bbq that we went to on Saturday. It was the first time that she and Tim met and she gave him a run for his money. She passed him through the ringer and back again. But he passed with flying colors and got an invite for Thanksgiving. He was so gracious to her and was able to trade wits with her that she loved him. It was rough and he handled it well, I was very proud of him. He is such a great guy! the food was awesome...pulled pork, ribs that melted off of the bone, polenta, jalepeno poppers wrapped in bacon, brownie oatmeal cookies, fried raviloi and carrot cake muffins. Yum!!! When we got home we vegged with the dog watching mythbusters experiment with diet coke and mentos!
We had breakfast with the tom kittens yesterday and then hit our store...Target. That place is awesome. I did some studying and helped him clean. He made me a great dinner last night and we watched some of his cartoon network dvds before crashing.
I adore him!
